Hormones of Anterior Pituitary
- There are six anterior pituitary hormones and affect many body organs :
- Growth hormone
- Prolactin
- Thyrotropic
- Adrenocorticotropic
- Two Gonadotropic
The first two hormones have major effects on nonendocrine targets and the the last three are all tropic hormones (stimulate target organs, secrete hormones, and exert effects on other body organs and tissue
