Melatonin Hormone
Levels of melatonins rise and fall during the day and night
Peak levels are at night which is why we get drowsy
Lowest level is during the day
Plays an important role in establishing the body’s day and night cycle
It coordinates hormones of fertility and inhibit reproduction system so that sexual maturation is prevented
